Two teams of six talented individuals, led by esteemed team captains, will showcase their skills, creativity, and teamwork as they design and build stunning woodworking projects. The energy and camaraderie among participants is palpable as they collaborate, share ideas, and bring their visions to life.

    Jason Hibbs

    Jason Hibbs resides in the great state of Oregon with his wife Cara and son Iver. He started Bourbon Moth Woodworking in 2014, creating high-end custom furniture for clients. As he was making these furniture pieces, he made how-to videos along the way. Over the last few years, Jason has transitioned from doing client work to being a full-time woodworking content creator. You can find his channel on YouTube at Bourbon Moth Woodworking.

    Jason is a Bourbon and Scotch aficionado. His favorite whiskey is EH Taylor Single Barrel, loves to golf, plays the tin whistle, and has a dog named Ava.

    Meet Lucas Jablonski, a skilled woodworker and co-founder of Lighthouse Woodworkers, from the vibrant city of Boston, who has emerged as a prominent figure in the local woodworking community. Lucas has earned an esteemed reputation as one of the finest craftsmen in the region. Beyond his exceptional woodworking expertise, he is admired for his generous spirit and eagerness to share his knowledge with aspiring woodworkers.

    Lucas enjoys spending time with his wife, Faith, and children. He enjoys playing guitar, singing, and smoking a good piece of meat.

We believe in giving back to the community, which is why the projects created during the event will be used in a giveaway where participating brands will match $1 for every entry. Donations will support Aynimundo and the Katz-Moses Woodworkers with Disabilities Fund. By participating in our event, you will not only be part of an exciting woodworking challenge but also contribute to meaningful causes that make a difference. Where is the event located?

We are thrilled to announce that the next event will take place at the prestigious Austin School of Furniture in Austin, Texas. This exceptional venue provides the perfect setting to come together and showcase your talent. Immerse yourself in an environment brimming with creativity, collaboration, and craftsmanship.

Who can participate?

Whether you're an experienced woodworker, an aspiring craftsman, or simply passionate about the art of woodworking, our event welcomes everyone.

Unfortunately, we have limited space and can't have everyone participate. That said, everyone is encouraged to signup for consideration for an extraordinary weekend of craftsmanship, collaboration, and compassion as we come together to create, inspire, and give back.

How much does it cost to participate?

To ensure that participants can fully immerse themselves in the event, we provide an all-expenses-paid trip (excluding plane flights). Basically, you get here and we take it from there until the end of the event.

You can focus on honing your skills, connecting with fellow woodworking enthusiasts, and enjoying the vibrant atmosphere while contributing to a great cause!

Is there a signup deadline?

Yes.

For the event beginning Oct 18, 2023, the signup deadline is Aug 10, 2023. Invites will be sent approximately 1 week after the deadline.

If you miss the deadline, you can still signup for future event consideration.
