Large white oak slats and stone were added around an existing fireplace to add textural interest and depth to this living space. For another unique touch, chopped logs are fixed, flanking either side of the fireplace to give the illusion of log storage.
The white oak was finished with Oil Plus 2C "Natural" for a light, nearly unfinished look.
