Refund policy
Order Changes and Cancellations
Rubio Monocoat USA will make reasonable efforts to accommodate order changes and cancellation requests whenever possible. If you need to change or cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible so our team can review the order status and available options.
Orders cannot be cancelled once they have been fulfilled and a shipment tracking number has been created.
If an order is cancelled before fulfillment, Rubio Monocoat USA may charge a cancellation or processing fee of up to 5% of the order total.
For orders totaling $1,000 or more, a 5% cancellation or processing fee will apply if costs have already been incurred, including but not limited to payment processing fees, administrative handling, order preparation, picking, packing, staging, or other order-processing expenses.
Rubio Monocoat USA reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to waive or reduce any cancellation or processing fee based on the circumstances.
Returns
Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by delivery, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unopened, unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase to be included with the return.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item.
Please be sure to package the product well to prevent damage during transit.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We are unable to guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Submit a return request
- Log in to your account:
- In the Email field, enter your email address, and then click Continue.
- In your email account, open the email sent from our store and copy the six-digit verification code included in the email.
- Go back to the online store, and then enter a six-digit verification code.
- Click the order that you want to submit the return for.
- Click Request return. If the order is not eligible for a return, the button will not be available.
- If your order has more than one item, then select the items that you want to return.
- Select a return reason and add a note for the store.
- Click Request return.
If your return request is approved, then you receive an email with shipping instructions. After the product is returned, your refund will be processed.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Approved returns for orders totaling $1,000 or more are subject to a 5% restocking fee, deducted from the refund amount. This fee does not apply to returns caused by Rubio Monocoat USA error.
Orders with Free Shipping will be refunded for the item(s) less the actual cost to ship the order. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable):
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
Late or missing refunds
1. If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
2. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
3. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
4. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at orders@rubiomonocoatusa.com.
Sale items
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at orders@rubiomonocoatusa.com.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
