Charity Auction for Cancer

Updated:

The Cause

Faith Jablonski recently found out that she has an aggressive form of bone cancer. In response, the Instagram woodworking community has rallied around her with countless posts and prayers. The whole class got behind the cause and created these pieces with Faith in mind.

Along with Festool were a bevvy of other companies that donated material to the class. The Hardwood MallRamia WorkbenchesWall ControlWoodpecker ToolsBessey Tools, and Starbond were all essential to the school’s success and we are abundantly grateful for their contribution.

The 14 makers were split into two teams of 7 and, after a short brainstorm session, it was building time! Thanks to the event’s sponsors, the makers had everything they needed to accomplish their goals. Even so, any builder worth their salt knows that it is an immense challenge to create a quality piece in just two days. So what did they do? They created three!
